Hello
I am new to selenium. I was unable to understand the steps mentioned
at http://code.google.com/p/flex-ui-selenium/ . Do i have to create a
new project? How do i use the sample project? Could i have detailed
steps on how to install the flex api??
Thanks

I'm also new to selenium and my first application for test is website.
For install sfapi I couldn't understand this step:
"Copy the file sfapi.swc into the 'libs' folder of your Flex
application " How I can find a folder if I have only website front-
end? Could I do it automated by selenium or I need ask a developer to
find folder and then copy that file to it? Thank's a lot and happy New
Year ^)

hi,

it has been a year since i used it.  not sure i remember it in details.  the sfapi.swc is the lib that you have to compile with your flex into .swf file, which inturn be embedded in the .html to run on the server.  if you don't compile your flex app with that lib, then none of the flex elements be exposed to the outside world for the flexselenium to communicate.  that is all i can tell.  it is kinds of tricky.

good luck,
charlie

I hope you might about Sikuli Automation testing Tool...Search n visit Sikuli http://sikuli.org/

It helps you to automate using Screenshot and if you know Python or Jython you can do complex scripts to automate the testing..
