skyline route

Hey all, What route do you guys take when you go Skyline? I rode it yesterday and I was like, OMGWTFBBQ YOU PEOPLE DO THIS BEFORE WORK?! but maybe we did something crazy (like take the freeway so we could avoid Sawyer Camp Trail. True story). Or maybe I'm just really out of shape. Which is probably the correct option. Colleen

There's not many ways to take, you were probably right. Great highway -> skyline -> SCT (or 280, which yes, we take on a fairly regular basis) ->skyline -> canada

Faye sent me directions... We did skyline like, skyline to 280 to highway 92, 92 to 35/skyline and then skyline into woodside. I was always under the impression that you did Skyline the entire way which is why I avoided riding with you! Canada is so much more mellow...

We only go up on Skyline after 92 on special occasions. And 92 really sucks. Lots of mean traffic.

Speaking of which, I went to Canada to do a time trial and rode as hard as I possibly could for half an hour. After that, I was wasted as one should be. The sun just went down so I was in a hurry to ride to Millbrae from where I'd take Bart the last bit home. I just needed to do reverse Skyline for a bit, and while riding I reflected over what SF2G:ers usually notice when doing reverse-anything: it looks pretty different going the other way! And those trees are nice... Ha, I never get the opportunity to enjoy the scenery as much when I ride with SF2G. I'd never even noticed the trees were so tall! But... how could I not have noticed that before? FUCK! I was on 92 on my way to Half Moon Bay and had completely forgotten to turn right onto Skyline after a few hundred meters on 92.

At least it's proof that I rode hard during those 30 minutes!
