The meet was awesome. Here is how it looked for me.
SILVER-
2PR'S-
GOLD. Not too shabby.
100M: Time: 14.1 It was a PR
400M: Time: 1:05.9. This was SILVER and PR
200M: Time: 29.0. It was the fastest I have run this in 6 years. It is my 3rd fastest time (BRONZE) of my 9 years of competing in this event.
4 x 100: 50 year age group: GOLD. (we were the only entry in that category). At second position, and in last place of the heat by 70 meters. Marcus, Rick covered a lot of ground in each leg and got us into second in our heat. The team that was in second and ahead of us by a lot, fell behind us by 50M. I did my part to make up the deficit but Marcus and Rick carried the load. Second in the heat (for our team of 50 year-old's) but we took GOLD in the event. I'll take it.
Here is how the rest of our awesome team did.
Marcus got 3 GOLDS: 400M; 200M; 4 x 100M
Rick got GOLD in 4 x 1
Bob got SILVER-800M; BRONZE 400M; GOLD 4 X 1
