SFSR Eat-In on Labor Day at Comstock Park - volunteers needed!

The Eat-In is this coming Monday and we're so excited about the response that we're getting!

 

Mayor Mary Verner plans to stop by the event and sign the petition.  Also, KHQ plans on covering the Eat-In and will give us a plug on their Saturday morning newscast. Woo Hoo!

 

The Eat-In is scheduled for Monday, September 7th from 4 to 6 pm at Comstock Park (right before the Symphony's concert).  We're not sure how many people to expect, but we'll certainly get tons of traffic from folks coming to the concert so we need to be prepared.

 

We could really use some volunteers for the following areas:

 

- Set-up to begin at around 3:00 pm

- Clean up after the event

- Manning the SFSR and Time for Lunch info table

- Overseeing the food and beverage tables

- Collecting petition signatures
