Special request early on to support the national Slow Food USA "Dig In!" on September 25th.
Thousands of people across the country are joining together to dig into local projects to help create a world
where food is good for you, good for the grower and good for the planet, and then break bread at
the end of the day to celebrate (that's the best bit).

The Slow Food Spokane River (SFSR) "Dig In!" is to partner with p.e.a.c.h. Community Farm to help their 9/25 Harvest Festival be an outrageous success! We are helping recruit volunteers to support this local project
that does an immense amount to "create a world where food is good for you, good for the grower and good
for the planet."  The grub they'll have there is local and perfect to "break bread" together too.

Sign up on behalf of SFSR to help!
Volunteers needed 9/23, 9/24 & 9/25 for setting up for the event and the day of the event.
To sign up for a two hour volunteer position please contact Brightspirit at Brightspirit@freshabundance or call 509-435-5210.  Make sure to let her know that you're volunteering as a part of the Slow Food National Volunteer Day!
