Subject: Hannah-thon: You are needed!
Many of you have heard by now that Hannah-thon is Friday, April 8th. (If you
haven't, see the basics in the attached pdf.) I'm emailing you because I
know you have a heart for what we do, and you would want to know when you
could help.
Did you know it takes dozens of volunteers to make this major fundraiser for
the Hannah House and Crisis Pregnancy Center run smoothly? Quite honestly,
without the sacraficial time and talents of volunteers on that day, we would
not be able to raise the funds we need to be able to continue to minister to
women in crisis pregnancies and families in early parenting challenges. Our
job is HOPE. Our request is for your time. :)
Here are some areas we still need volunteers for Friday, April 8:
1. Prayer! We want to have someone on the property at all times praying
protection for the people giving powerful testimonies, conveying the
importance of our ministry, and challenging listeners to be a part of what
they hear by donating. We can take more people at any hour 6a-6p. If you
can't come to our buildings, but still want to commit to a certain hour or
two of prayer, we need that, too!!
2. Data Entry: Must be very comfortable with excell spread sheets, take
instruction well, and be very flexible under pressure. This job is how we
keep track of how much has been donated and how close we are on our goals.
Two-hour shifts open between 8am and 4pm.
3. Phones: Be the friendly voice that greets the listeners who are
moved by what they hear! We especially need (at least one-hour shifts)
6am-10am people and noon-2pm. You might call this a lynch pin need! We gotta
have people on the phones.
4. Runners: Or walkers... :) Carrying information between the Call
Center, Data Entry, and the Broadcast Room. We very much need people
6am-10am, noon-2pm, and 4-6pm (any length of time you're able to give).
