Hi,

I'm a very happy user of SequelPro, so happy, that a few hours after
my first try, I donated a few bucks.
It's working very well for me, I nearly don't need to use the MySQL
CLI nor phpMyAdmin.

Here is something that could make it even more awesome : background
color for the window.

Why, oh WHY would I want to add ugly color to the beautiful UI ? I
make mistakes !

I have a local DB that I use for my development cycle. I often do
destructive actions on it (DELETE, DROP TABLE, …)
I also have a staging/production server where I have a specific
database for each environment.

A few times in the last month, I made bad actions on my staging and/or
my production databases because I thought I was on the local one. The
only thing that differentiate them is the name of the server, and it's
very close.

If I could add a custom color for my favorite connexions, I could more
easily differentiate them. The color could a background for the left
column, or something else, but I'm quite sure it would be very useful.

Thanks again for the quality of SequelPro.

I'd like to second this. The colour should be user-defined on a per
server basis if possible.

Would this be compatible with Apple design guidelines though I
wonder? If not, maybe some other visual clue.

This would be amazing, for now I will have to continue using phpmyadmin for live and staging, as it is too risky. Sometimes you are just tired and you make mistakes that happens but it cant happen on a live page !  So color theming would be such an amazing improvement.

I totally agree: An option to add a theme to a particular connection could be a potential life-saver.
