When I connect to Sequel Pro I am unable to see the drop down of
available databases in the top left hand corner with menu "Choose
Database, Add Database, Refresh Databases etc" as previous (the
rectangular drop down button is no longer appearing next to the
Structure icon).

I have tried to uninstalling and reinstalling Sequel Pro but this is
not helped.

Can anyone advise what I need to do to see drop down? I am now unable
to edit or create new databases.

Is there a simple reset I need to do?

I have the following setup if this helps:
Mac Book pro
MAMP (Apache Server + MySQL Server)
Linode
Sequel Pro

Hi Lieby,

Like many cocoa programs, Sequel Pro has a configurable toolbar - one of the way to rearrange icons on that toolbar is to command-click on them, so you may have accidentally dragged it off the toolbar.

Fortunately it's easy to fix if you know how - if you right-click somewhere in the toolbar, and choose "Customize Toolbar..." at the bottom, you'll be able to add the missing drop down again.

Hope that helps,
Rowan

Hi Rowan

Yep, it looks like I inadvertently dragged it off the toolbar.

Thanks for the tip - much appreciated.
