Qedit (TSE jr) on a new embedded board

I have used Qedit since 1989 on many many projects, but it has lain
idle for a couple of years.
I now have a new embedded PC104 board, and am trying to load in my
development environment, but when I start Q.exe, or Qconfig.exe, it
just hangs.
I dont remember this problem on any other board before, are there some
DOS config, or himem settings I should adjust?

What version of QEdit?
What OS are you trying to run it on?
