Fooling around with bookmarks...
NearMark.mac, a bookmarking macro
For the purposes of this macro, a 'bookmark' is referred to as a
'NearMark'
Features:
Unlimited NearMark creation
Auto-create single numbered NearMarks
Create named NearMarks
Auto-create NearMarks using search text
NearMarks are saved with near text saved
Go backward, forward, and to previous NearMark
Go to NearMark from a list
If editing has moved the NearMark location, the saved near text is
stuffed into the Find() History for easy searching
If a file where a NearMark was placed is no longer in the file ring, the
macro will optionally reload that file and go to that NearMark
If a block containing the cursor was marked when a NearMark was set, and
if no current block is marked, that block will be re-marked when going
to that NearMark again
Any number of user-named Defined NearMark sets can be saved to files
Saved NearMark sets can be loaded from a file and either replace or
append to currently defined NearMarks
NearMarks can be edited and rearranged. For instance, if a filename has
been changed, the name of the file associated with the NearMark(s) can
be changed and the NearMarks reloaded
Deletion of all NearMarks is available
NearMark operations can be accessed using assigned keys or the menu
Removing the macro does not disable the NearMarks data and executing or
loading the macro again will resume those NearMarks
Anything left out?
