compatibility with lucene 4.0?

wondering what the compatibility with lucene 4.0 is?
are the changes and differences extensive?

Is Lucene 4.0 available? I can't find it at http://lucene.apache.org/
at the moment, "Latest News" still says that 3.0.3 is available.

No, Lucene 4.0 is not out. Lucene 4 == trunk.

Well have you tried it and encountered problems?
The compatibility depends less on Semanticvectors and
more on how many non-compatible changes Lucene
has undergone, I think.
