Wide Web, and yet fundamentally different data modeling technologies
than XML Schema, RELAX NG, DTDs. The book also uses practical examples
to illustrate a variety of design patterns that are useful for
creating and using RDFS and OWL.

I've only seen a few of the books already mentioned, but this one
struck me as being exceptionally good.
Easy to get into, but gives well-informed coverage of many of the
parts o the semweb stack that usually seem difficult.
