Unable to upgrade to selenium webdriver with ruby, nmake problem

Hi All,

I have been using selenium-rc from last 2.5 yrs, just trying to
upgrade to selenium 2.0 webdriver. But I am unable to install any gem
into my system:

When i try to run 'gem install selenium-webdriver' I get below error:
C:\>gem install selenium-webdriver
Building native extensions. This could take a while...
ERROR: Error installing selenium-webdriver:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

c:/ruby/bin/ruby.exe extconf.rb install selenium-webdriver
checking for rb_thread_blocking_region()... no
checking for ruby_thread_has_gvl_p()... no
checking for ruby_native_thread_p()... no
checking for rb_thread_call_with_gvl()... no
creating extconf.h
creating Makefile

nmake 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Gem files will remain installed in c:/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/
ffi-1.0.9 for inspection.
Results logged to c:/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/ffi-1.0.9/ext/ffi_c/
gem_make.out

I am unable to know what is the problem is, i tried to look into many
blogs but didn't find any usefule information.

I am working on windows XP, ruby 1.8.6.

Maybe gem itself needs to be updated? "gem --version" should say
1.8.6

Set the CLASSPATH C:\Ruby192\bin – This is done by adding System
Variables

Read the article http://www.seleniumwiki.com/selenium-rc/how-to-install-and-run-selenium-rc-using-ruby-codes/.
This is in Selenium RC but will work for you in web driver too. You
have any issue add a comment.
