Hi,

The ssl certificate for seleniumhq.org has expired. How do we go about renewing it?

Cheers,

we don't have an ssl cert for seleniumhq.org nor has there ever been
(a valid) one since I've been around.

Do you have links or something you're using?

https://addons.seleniumhq.org/

which is what se-ide uses to phone home and receive updates.

Ahh, that's specifically the "addons.seleniumhq.org" certificate...
(which is installed on openqa)

Paging Patrick Lightbody, Paging Patrick Lightbody :)

I don't recall setting that one up. I thought Adam did? Anyway, we can get certs for free now through the conservancy, but I think only Simon has the creds for the account with Gandi (my creds aren't working). Paging Simon? :)

Hi,

Is there anything I can do to speed this up? With the release of Firefox 22, there should be a bunch of breakages and we need to get the new version of Selenium IDE out ASAP. We have more than 700,000 potential users who might be affected!

Thanks a lot.

I can take a stab at it once I can log in to Gandi. I just asked Simon for the creds privately.

Hi Patrick,

If you need any help installing the certificate, Adam mentioned that he can probably help. I would like to release the new update Selenium IDE as soon as possible.

Just wanted to let you know I'm working on this!

OK this is done. However: the content for addons.seleniumhq.org and release.seleniumhq.org is on a new server, so we need to get you access to it. Feel free to email me on how you got to it before and we'll get it set back up.

I know Patrick knows about this already, but is there anyone else that knows how to check the health of release and/or restart the server? All the download links for Se-IDE are dead right now on the main site. (Patrick in skype thinks the server went down? I don't know the infrastructure enough anymore to know what that means exactly.)

Sorry this is fixed. It should never have taken this long to get it back online. This was a rare case of:

1) No one else (yet) knows how to diagnose the new cloud server we have (raise your hand if you want access)
2) We don't have any monitoring in place because it was all pointing at the old server
3) I have a 10 day old and am running on severe lack of sleep :)

Raises hand for access.

I saw the naked domain redirect failing last night and felt a bit helpless to troubleshoot.
