Unable to install Security Onion in to Sun Virtual Box

Hi,

I have been trying to install Security Onion in to Sun's virtual box
3.0.12.
I've tried several different profiles, Ubuntu, Red Hat....etc in
Virtual Box, but it just drops me to a command prompt.

Host: WinXP SP3

Any ideas?

Hi CraigAB,

It sounds like you chose the Install option off of the GRUB boot menu
(which doesn't work unfortunately). Have you tried booting into the
Live environment and then using the Install shortcut on the desktop?
