Fwd: SJSU/Udacity Pilot Extended to Summer
College credit at San Jose State for selection of "pilot" online courses through Udacity - tuition $150. I took Sebastian Thrun's class "Programming a Self Driving Car" and it was terrific (and also a challenge!) but non-credit. They are now offering classes via an accredited institution as a pilot... more »

Should I fix my car?
My car has recently started making some unpleasant noises. In addition to the slow CV joint failure I've been experiencing since I bought it, I now have a faint but persistent engine whine. I only need the car to last for another ~8,000 miles / 24 months at which point I'll cheerfully sell it for parts, but I'm not sure what to until then.... more »
