I'm forming a iOS / Mac development LLC designed to split the cost of the licensing and to give it's members a group to cowork with unencumbered by the NDA. Basically, membership dues will be roughly $358 divided by the total number of members (currently 2, expected to expand to 5+). Ideally, you would get both the iOS and Mac development licenses for less than the cost of either/or.
I'm basically sending this email to gauge interest. Let me know if this sounds like something you'd be interested in. For those who don't know, the licenses include access to Apple's NDA developer forums and to pre-release software (currently iOS 4.3 and Mac OS X 10.7, but you didn't hear from me).

I'm interested. I currently have a iOS developer's license, but would dearly love to have some peers to help cope with the god-awful provisioning stuff. I've been on the verge of signing up for the Mac developer's license; now that there's a Mac App Store, I have an app in mind that I'd like to release there, but was peeved that Apple wanted me to spend another $100 and (presumably) go through provisioning hell again...

How did it go, guys? I realize the original is older than 2 years now. Did you form it? Are you still planning on forming it? Is it possible to join it, if you formed it?I'm planning to start learning iOS and would like to be able to throw a couple of simple apps to the AppStore, so would be interested in forming something like that. Also, do you guys know if there is an iOS developers club in Madison area, where people meet and share their expertise, exchange ideas? Nothing too commercial, just people who program for iOS as a hobby.-Ilya
