I'm interested in coming out for this tonight but had 2 questions.

1. Is it free? Based on my murky recollection from the meeting last week, I thought it was.
2. Is there an IDE of some sort I need to install before I arrive?

Thanks,

Chris

Livecode group meeting tonight is free, Larry might be able to jump in here with more info as far as an IDE goes, but I think it's something you can download there.

Chris (and anyone else interested):

Yes, this is free, it's just an "open house" where we with LiveCode and give demos to anyone interested.

If you would like to have LiveCode running on you own machine, you can download the package from their website and register for a free 30 -day license.

[For some inscrutable reason, they have made this offer very hard to find on the website, but using the following link will get you a download link and allow you to use the user ID and password you create to unlock a 30 -day fre trial:]
