Hiya,

This will come off as an odd request! But I live pretty much right next
to Willy St Co-op east, if you know the area. I also work from home.
One thing I really miss about being in Chicago is I had people to meet
with for lunch and talk about projects, etc.

So, odd request: anyone else in the
relatively-close-to-jenifer-and-few-st area?

- Chris

Come on down to Sector67. It's a 20-minute walk and that's pretty much what we do all day. :)

I know it seems obvious, but I agree!  I always swing by sector to eat lunch or dinner if i am anywhere nearby.  There is always someone up to something interesting, and lunch/dinnertime is a good time to bug them to talk about what it is.

If you hang around enough you might even get in on some awesome leftover home cooking someone brings in, or a group lunch order or trip to a nearby resturaunt.

Hi Christopher. I'm in your neighborhood, working at home. Just finished lunch and saw your message. What are you working on? I'm writing a compiler, using LLVM.

If you're a software geek like me, there's a meeting of the Madison Area Software Developers Meetup Group tonight at 6:00 at Essen Haus.

Sounds great!  I can't make it tonight - but how often does it meet?
