Alex,

In Vol 1 are a lot of my own personal disk images. One program there that I
used a lot was Modem768 but it was for CP/M. I think in Vol4 or Vol5 there's
a program called Computerized Phone System which seemed to be a modem
program. I can't remember if there was an HDOS version though.

As far as I know Modem7 was only for CP/M.

You should be able to find an HDOS application that implements MODEM7
protocol though. MODEM7 was the extension to the base XMODEM protocol
that implemented "batch" mode... ie, the ability to send multiple files
automatically with a single command. You could, for example, send *.ASM
using MODEM7 (aka, XMODEM BATCH) protocol.

You might search the archives again looking for XMODEM instead of MODEM7
to see if you can find an app that implements the base protocol.

Better yet, see if you can find something that does ZMODEM protocol.
As described here,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XMODEM

ZMODEM is the final implementation that beat out all the earlier X and
Y variations.

Thank-you for the info. my hdos program "cpmcopy" does not like
copying form different type devices.
that is from DK0 to SY1.

the CP/M modem programs listed in the Jan 85 Remark are ZTERM and
MAPLE. IIRC, there was an H/DOS Maple.... try looking for that...

Thanks Steve, i found maple, cps, another program for HDOS but they
are all actuall "modem control" not much good for file transfers.
also on page 36 is where i found "Zterm" and that is listed for the
Z100 not the 8/89.
