For some reason I have started getting two copies of messages from this list. Has anyone else run into this?

Your email is the first I've heard of this - anyone else having problems?
Peter, are both messages to the same email address?

Got my first "double message" last night. It was Mark's message on
the H17 archive project.

Although I don't know the format of the mail headers, it appears to me
that they took different routes to get to me.

OK, another double message.

This time in the HDOS 3.0 discussion. I got two copies of one of
Mark's messages, but not all, and only one copy of the messages from
Les.

This is strange.

So did I, but that was the only double one in this chain. Peter, what about you?

This is a bit strange. I keep getting double messages consistently,
HOWEVER!!! We went to visit our daughter over the weekend and I looked at my
email through web access to Gmail. When looking at it that way, there were
no double messages. Coming home and retrieving them in Outlook through POP3
gave me the double messages. I need to investigate a bit more, but it seems
to me that there is something in Gmail that treats googlegroups differently
when using POP3.

I will post if I find anything more on this.

Continuing with strange, a couple of says ago I received double
messages from a source totally unrelated to this group. I believe
that all previous doubles were all from group members.

I have an update - no more double messages! Hope that saying this does not
start it up again ;) However, this coincided with my installing a fresh copy
of 64-bit Windows 7 on my new computer. Perhaps the clean install of the OS
and Office (Outlook) is the reason for the fix. Will advise if anything
changes.

Peter

p.s. It is nice to boot Windows 7 in 15 seconds! SSD for boot and an i5 750
processor.
