Permanents count toward Super Rando?

Hey all-

Being relatively new I have a question...obviously.  I want to do the Seattle to Spokane perm and was wondering if it counts towards the Super Rando award?

It wouldn't.

The Super Randonneur award is an Audax Club Parisien award and can only be achieved with ACP brevets (not RUSA permanents, not RUSA brevets).

Though there is something called a RUSA SR that RUSA events do count for, and that you can qualify for with events that exceed the distances for the events in an ACP SR. RUSA SR's are mostly for the purpose of qualifying for the Ultra Randonneur award, as far as I can tell. Alas, perms don't even count towards a RUSA SR. (Which sucks, because otherwise I'd have my UR with just one more 600.)
