Next Meeting?

Any chance we could have another meeting next month at Metrix? I'm
dying to get help trying to calibrate my machine. Right now, I'm just
trying to figure out how to use Skeinforge. Thanks.

Hey Matt,
how many regulars do you have on your Saturday Makerbot meetings?

I'm not planning on a major meetup this month since we just did one
last month.
though...with all the activity lately I've moved things from Quarterly
to Bi-Monthy
(see other post, but typically the 4th Sat every other month ).

on the off months I highly recommend a regular meet-up at Metrix on
the same night if you can't make the other or want to get together
more often.

however,
I am getting together over at a friends house this Saturday to work on
a Prusa during the day.
depending on where we are at (and if anyone else is getting together
over at Metrix around 6pm-7pm)
we may drop by.

chime in if you are interested in showing up for a mini-meetup this
Saturday at Metrix.
(I'm making no guarantees for myself)

I am interested in attending, My first question is are your meeting
locations wheelchair accessible? I use a heavy powerchair. I am also
thinking of going to the Seattle Robot Society meeting which I know is
accessible.

Metrix is in the basement down a flight of stairs...
I'm not sure it has an elevator...

Jigsaw is ground floor so not a problem.
(I believe they also have a ramp to the bathroom as well).

so it looks like unless Metrix has an elevator we'll be having the May
meetup at Jigsaw. I'll see if their space is available that evening.

Jigsaw does not have a ramp to the bathroom. The back hall way could be accessed from a back door, but the hallway tends to collect clutter.

I've just about finished mechanical assembly of a techzone mendel, and figure that the 4th Saturday in May would be a fine time to bug people for help getting it all working ;-)

I apologize about the delay getting back to the group,
been pretty busy with a bunch of other stuff lately...

anyway it looks like Jigsaw is in the middle of a move to their new
location in the Inscape building down by Pioneer square so it'll have
to be at Metrix again this time.
(sorry no wheel chair access).

still need to ok it with Matt @Metrix,
but I'm sure it'll be alright...
right Matt??

Saturday May 28th from...
6pm-8pm works for a good time since it's Free Parking after 6pm...
and Metrix has it's regular weekly Makerbot meetup at that time as
well.

I'll do a full announcement after Matt chimes back on the time/place/
etc.
