"Kerry reported giving $43,735, or about 11 percent of his total
income, to charity. That significant level of giving stands in
contrast to his record in the 1990s, in which the issue of the
senator's charitable contributions was a source of controversy. In
1995, Kerry reportedly had a taxable income of $126,179, and made
charitable contributions of $0. In 1994, he gave $2,039 to charity. In
1993, the figure was $175. In 1992, it was $820, and in 1991, it was
$0."

This shows Kerry's true heart - he gave virtually nothing to charity
until he decided to run for President - then he tried to make it look
good. The man is all smoke and mirrors.

"Kerry's 2003 return illustrates the extent to which Kerry's lifestyle
is subsidized by his wife. Apart from the income from the painting,
Kerry's Senate salary would not be enough to pay the property taxes on
the several residences they own."

He is a kept man and will do whatever his wife tells him to.

"In addition to his 2003 returns, Kerry also released federal tax
returns from the years 1999 to 2002 yesterday. There has been some
dispute about returns for those years. Kerry has claimed that he had
already released the returns - in January of this year, he said, " I
released all my tax returns for 20 years. I have never not released my
tax returns throughout my political career." But aside from releasing
details from his 2002 taxes - which showed a total income of
$144,091 - it is not clear that Kerry has ever made public his returns
from 1999 or 2000 or 2001 before now."

This is typical Kerry - lie about what you have done. Hey, has he
signed the "180" form yet?

But then again,
Who Cares!

He's running against a guy who bought a Potemkin ranch in Texas
before running for President, just to induce people into thinking
he's a plain spoken down-to-earth guy from middle America.

There seem to be a lot of smoke and mirrors for everyone.

As to Kerry's lifestyle being subsidized by his wife, voters can
compare this to the Shrub's lifestyle being subsidized by his
daddy's Saudi friends and Texas taxpayers, and decide for themselves
which bothers them more.

Let's see you prove that and see you prove it good.
It's bullshit and you know it. I can see why you like Kerry.

Well, Kerry bothers me more.
My own personal opinion is Kerry is unfit to command anything important.

And George Bush is?!!!

Whew! He's fucked up pretty much everything he's taken on in life and
he's now relying on a pack of rabid ideologues to show him the way.
Unfortunately, these neocons weren't the authors of the bible and hold
very little sacred other than the US becoming the world's moral police.

They'd spend us into oblivion in pursuit of their global domination.

How much of a shithole are you willing to allow America to become before
you realize blinder-driven partisanship isn't the best policy?

Poor little "who cares" just another nameless troll that is deperate
to talk about ANYTHING, except the issues. He'll do anything he can
think of to try to distract from the deficits, the HUGE spending, the
out of control Federal Government, the interference with States
rights, the DEATHS and DEATHS and more DEATHS. Poor little who cares
thinks reported charity is more important than performance or policy.
Just another nameless troll.
