The official cost of immigration reform is $6.3 trillion (6 Iraq wars).
But the government always underestimates how many illegals are in the
country, and a more correct number would be twice what they think. So
this would increase the cost to $12 trillion (12 Iraq wars), and
basically break the back of the US treasury. And the Democrats want to
do this so they can obtain 6 million more Democrat voters. They would
get those voters, but there would be no country left to govern over.

Show us how Reagan granting blanket amnesty to
millions of illegals in 1986 "broke the back of the
treasury".

In Sissyro's bizarro world, it is ok for the GOP to give illegals amnesty as
long as the Dems don't. Crickets flew out of his ass when Bush was proposing the
same thing.

You know that isn't true Gary. The vast majority are unskilled, not
educated poor who will receive $3 in benefits from the country for every
$1 they pay in all taxes, state and local included. So stop being a
fanatical boob for once and tell me how that helps the country.
Remember the equation, you pay them $3 and they give you back $1. It's
the same equation for America's domestic poor, who are unskilled and not
educated.

At this very moment, 2 million Mexicans are in the process of trying to
cross the border illegally. I see hundreds pass this area daily myself.
They are calling it a modern day gold rush, as they rush to cash in on
the bounty that Obama is offering them. Gary, if you can stand back
from your fanaticism for just a second, do you really think these
millions are rushing the border to pay taxes to Uncle Sam?? When you go
to your local watering hole, and you start hearing norteno music that is
when you know your community has been absorbed by this invading alien
force.

Don't really have anything that can do video, maybe some pics. You can
tell by their accents that they are just passing through to the USA.
Even the locals here want to pack up and get in on all the freebies
Obama is going to give them. You can't explain to them that it isn't
that easy, but once the gold rush is on, that is all they can think about.

The record shows I opposed the McCain immigration bill. McCain gets
more votes from Democrats in Arizona than Republican. When McCain ran
for President, he voted for Obama. There is no doubt in my mind that
when McCain left the Hanoi Hilton he was damaged goods.

Having to be completed with private funds, unmatching fences, and yet still
incomplete, open areas. In other words, a typical Bush 'Mission Accomplished'
type of job. After all, it isn't the security he was actually interested in, it
was the action of signing the building of a fence into place, regardless how
incomplete it is. Besides, from the Fox cite:

"It would provide a mechanism by which some U.S. businesses would be able to
import an unlimited number of low-wage foreign workers, and it would allow most
of the roughly 10 million illegal aliens already in the United States a means by
which they (and their extended families) would be able to remain legally -- and
permanently -- in the United States."

Basically the fence was lip service. If businesses could import as many low wage
workers as they wished and the illegals already in the country were to be given
amnesty, the fence would only keep out drug traffic. And it hasn't seemed to do
that either.

If that was a $1.2B "clusterfuck" then Obamcare would be a $400B/year
"Geothermal Nuclear Bubonic Clusterfuck Halocaust".

Border apprehensions decreased 61% from 2005 to 2010, lowest since
1972:
http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/statistics/publications/ois-apprehensions-fs-2005-2010.pdf

You can't have an open border *AND* a welfare state (for long).

Since the election of Obama, illegals have been coming for the welfare
and nothing else. They have already ruined California. Even Arnold got
ruined by a Mexican immigrant. Another very disagreeable aspect to these
kind of immigrants is one of the first things they do is buy a car, get
drunk and crash into someone. Most have no driving skills, have a
cultural trait that says it is cool to drink and drive, and are a true
menace. So not only will they cost you money, they could possibly cost
you your life. When the sun sets here in Mexico, I never drive as it
just a game of Russian Roulette. If you move to Mexico, that is the
first lesson you learn, and that is never to drive at night. That is
when the cops hassle you also.

Where I've driven in town in Mexico the speed limit is 25 mph. They
look at roads as community areas where people walk, ride bikes, or sell
food, pets roam, and anything you can think up. The roads are unlike
the UsA roads where the speed limit is rarely under 35 mph, and anything
in the road, that doesn't belong there, gets run over (pets, pedestrians).

Unfortunately the lack of obstacles creates catastrophic accidents,
