Worked in the firm’s marketing department to create a variety of marketing
collateral such as cover art, brochures, tabs, flyers, posters, CD covers,
organization charts, matrices, photographic montages, engineering schematics,
maps, logos, scanning and color correction of photographs and updated the
company website in Frontpage. Created new artwork or added photographs to
company website. Occasionally asked to assist other departments in uploading
files to ftp site. I was also responsible for supervising and preparing my
design projects for print vendors; getting cost estimates, scheduling, and
proofing bluelines, pre-press file preparation, and formatting of files into
pdfs, jpgs or gifs, burning CDs of completed designs as requested, and emailing
files to clients. Created powerpoint presentations for engineers to take on
interviews; consulting with the engineers to get a clear understanding of their
visual communication requirements and develop design 'roughs' (sketches) and/or
organizing the photographs, text and other design elements needed to complete
the presentation. Also required to mount CAD drawings, photographs, other

promotional pieces from concept to print. Responsible for proofing and
pre-press preparation on existing artwork and new artwork to be printed or
reprinted. Coordinate and trouble-shoot with pre-press department to insure the
readiness of files to be sent to film. Brainstormed with Sales and Marketing on
the “look” of new game designs as well as creating collateral marketing
promotional pieces such as flyers, brochures and posters for trade shows to
