We are seeking a Cisco Systems/Network Engineer for a contract position
with one of the leading wireless companies. The engineer would be
responsible for tuning up retail routers, switches, LANs and WANs. The
client is adding around 400 new retail locations in 2008. This engineer
would use the Remedy system to work on network builds, deployments and
upgrades. May also work on project related Remedy tickets, this will
involve working with the customer to assign IP addresses and Ethernet
ports to bring into production.

Responsibilities:

* Candidate will work on production Cisco routers and switches for example
6500, 7200, 2851, 3750, 4949 and many other Cisco devices. The candidate
must be able to work under pressure and current change board and SOX
rules

Qualifications:

* Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience desired
* Proficient with installation and troubleshooting of T1 and DS3 circuits
and has experience with working with Telco carriers like MCI, Sprint, AT&T
and local Bell providers
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN protocols
