No, Dougie -- you and yours will be around until the end of time.

So will we.

Heh. That's good -- I can hear it.

I heard an impressionist doing Patrick Stewart on the radio a while back.
Try to imagine Jon-Luc Picard saying, "Lets get drunk and play ping-pong."

That is actually Patrick Stewart saying that. It's from an episode of
The Simpsons. He was a guest voice, and that was one of his lines.
They play it as a bumper on several of the local radio stations in
Seattle.
I also find it hilarious to hear that line coming out in his voice.

The comic must have been quoting the show then. He was talking on the radio
show about actually meeting Stewart at some hotel and saying that line to him
in Stewart's own voice.

Apparently Stewart was not amused.

As Bob Harrington <r...@blarg.net> so eloquently put:

I was rootin' for the Moist Queen, myself, but they keep killing her
off.

I've seen the actress in two movies & one other television show. Without
the borg act, alas, she's kind of just another Barbi. But at least she's
working, & maybe we'll get to see her in something else that permits her
to raise an eyebrow or force someone to comply.

About ten days ago, it was announced that Jeri Ryan (the actress mentioned
above) will be a series regular appearing as a teacher in 'Boston Public',
beginning its second season this fall on Fox.

That would be nice. The 'resistance is futile' bit might be a little
more
interesting if it involved less Borg technology and a little more old
fashioned hardware like handcuffs and a whip. ;-)
