Apparently, the "Its-it" is some sort of ice cream sandwich thing, native
to the Bay Area. They claim to distribute all along the west coast, but I
have not found them in the "novelties" section of QFC or Safeway; anyone
have a line on where I could find some? (My wife's from the BA and had a
sudden urge to have one, see....)

Looks like they are available only at three places here. Safeway, Umpqua
Dairy and Dutch Girl but those last two places are also listed for Oregon.
You might try calling some other Safeway's to see if they sell them. Not
all carry the same things.
