As a member of the Information Security practice team the Network
Security Consultant could be expected to support security initiatives
across the US. This position may be based anywhere in the US but can
expected significant periods of travel. The Security Engineer will be
involved with delivering strategic security solutions to customers and
help manage the risks involved with technology to business endeavors.
Some of the services to be provided include: Secure IT Architecture and
Design, Secure Networking Implementations and Standard development .
This position may be responsible for researching and evaluating new
products; implementing tools, techniques, and processes for new and
existing Information Security infrastructure; providing operational
support and consulting services to business units.

The requirements for this position are a Bachelor''s degree (or
equivalent in experience) in Computer Science or related field plus
typically 5 plus years in the Information Systems industry with strong
technical and operational experience in one or more areas such as
Firewall Administration & Architecture; TCP/IP and Network (Lan/Wan)
Security; Remote Access Solutions; Intrusion Detection/Prevention
Systems, Content Filtering, or Authentication Systems. Sound project
management process knowledge sufficient to manage project deliverables
and timelines.

Candidate must have strong technical and network based skills in a
number of the following : Unix System V, Win32, Cisco IOS, TCP, UDP, IP,
HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, NetBIOS, shell scripting, Perl, IDS/IPS, C, Java,
SSL, PKI, IPSec, PCI, HIPAA. Thorough understanding of networks and
network related security controls.
Experience in Symantec, Microsoft and Cisco security products.
Problem solving skills are greatly appreciated.
CISSP, CISA and/or CCIE certifications a plus.

Desired Skills:
Generally required are advanced analytical skills, detail orientation
and accuracy with good organizational skills. Successful candidates must
also possess excellent interpersonal and team based skills, be able to
handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and work under time
constraints in a matrix environment. International work experience is a
plus. Solid written and verbal communication skills are required.
