Security Engineer - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $130K - $150K / Year

Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems, network
programming principles, host-based security procedures
* C and .NET programming, Shell, Perl and Python scripting
* Security-conscious coding practices and understanding of how malicious
code can take advantage of security vulnerabilities
* Extensive knowledge in networking protocols (TCP/IP) and service
protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, SSL, SSH, SMTP, POP3, DNS, FTP)
* Encryption and authentication fundamentals as well as a solid
understanding of cryptographic standards.
* Experience with host based firewall (IPF, IPTABLES).
* Successful candidate should be able to work in a team environment,
excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
