Subject: Danny Doyle Benefit
Hi Friends. Seamus Kennedy here.

On Sunday November 18th, from 4 PM til 9 PM, at Four Green Fields,
3412 Connecticut Ave,NW, Washington DC 20008, there will be a Benefit
Concert to honor Danny Doyle, one of Ireland's greatest balladeers.

We're calling it a Feast Of Irish Music, and appearing will be such
stars of the Irish music scene as Danny O'Flaherty, Zan McLeod, Brian
Gaffney, Fergus Kennedy & Stevie Morris, Jesse & Terry Winch, Liam
Maguire, Pat  Garvey, Brendan Sheridan, Ronan Kavanagh, the Sean
Culkin School of Irish Dancing, and myself.

For over 40 years Danny Doyle has been one of the leading lights in
the Irish Folk song revival, and when any of his fellow musicians
were in difficulties due to ill-health, he was always the first to
volunteer his services and time in benefit performances.

Now, due to illness, he has been forced to cancel all his engagements
well into 2008, so his musical friends are stepping up to the plate
to help a man who has helped so many others, with a 'Thank You'
benefit for him.

It'll be a great day of music and song, so please come out and help a
great guy.  Thanks.
You can call 202-244-0860 for more information.

Seamus
