Elite PAC Tour About to commence

Hello Fellow Cyclists,

The fantastic voyage of cycling the continent commences this Sunday, May 12 from San Diego! I will drive over on Friday, meet the group of cyclists and Lon Haldeman and Susan Notorangelo, owners of PAC Tour. Then on Sunday we’re off on the nearly 3,000 mile adventure known as Elite PAC Tour 2013. If you are interested, you can track my efforts on my blog page. I am new to blogging and thought I’d give it a whirl for this trip.

I may be limited by internet access, time, and energy, yet I will do what I can. The address is:

Thank you all for your help during this period of intense training that really started 8 months ago. Thanks are extended to Mike, Dick, Jim, SD Randos, AZ Randos, Simon, and the Bulls for their continued encouragement, assistance, thoughtful words, and upbeat personalities.

Hi Brian,

I tip my helmet to you for even being at the start line of the Elite PAC Tour as shown at http://www.pactour.com/elite.html

I first met Lon and Susan in 1990 on the PAC Tour Southern Transcontinental. It changed my life and opened my eyes to the fun, challenge, and joy of long distance cycling. We basically took 3 weeks to ride across America on a route similar to what you will be doing in 2 weeks!!

Since then, I’ve ridden the 1995 PAC Tour Ridge of the Rockies, the 2000 Central Transcontinental with my photos and daily reports at http://www.caltriplecrown.com/PAC2000/ , and last year the 2012 Pacific Crest Trail all with Lon and Susan.

Lon and Susan are just the best. So fun to ride with. So organized and dialed into helping you make your goals. So interesting to be with. Two of the nicest people I’ve ever met on this planet surface.

You are in good hands … have a blast.
