Subject: Seattle to San Diego Tour
Tomorrow I'm flying up to Seattle to start a three week tour down the
coast.  I plan to post pictures and blog entries periodically on
http://alankevinbigadventure.blogspot.com/, in case you are
interested.

Perhaps I'll have the legs of Fausto Coppi by the end of this tour!

Alan

Alan:  Please load your site with pix and thoughts so we can ride along
vicariously.  I did that ride in 1995 as a final "tune up" training ride
for PBP.  We left SeaTac airport and rode around Mt. Rainier the first
day then on down to Lindberg Field-- self-supported with panniers--
staying on the coast road all the way after the first day.  My log book
indicates 1876 miles in 10 days.  Highlights were The Oregon Coast,
Avenue of the Giants, Hwy 1 in Mendocino, Golden Gate Bridge, The 17
Mile Drive into Carmel and The Big Sur Coast.  Low lights were Malibu
Colony to Santa Monica Pier...and San Pedro!
   Best Wishes and Tailwinds!!
