I hadn't seen this anywhere before, but there is a bike ride coming up
that has riders going over the Coronado Bridge, on Sept 7.

It's a ride around the bay, using various bike paths.
The ride is limited to 2500 registrants, so check it out.

I heard from a friend that the organizer is looking for volunteers to
escort riders over the Coronado Bridge. Not sure what the job entails,
but it's worth checking out. It'd be nice to make this ride an annual
event, and so worth help out the organizers to make it a success.
