> I'm an art student and woking on redesigning "For sale sign" .. Let
me know what do you think of my choice of fonts.
That's it?
First, there needs to be some kind of "environment" - the immediate
environment being the -sign- itself, which will need to have proportions
or relative dimensions, perhaps including thickness, as well as some
kind of support, background color, stuff like that.
Then, there needs to be an environment, stated, implied, conditioned or
mocked up, about -what- is for sale, to help determine what kind of mood
or attitude the designated sign visualizer needs to feel. Is this going
to be in the window of a car? Stuck into the grass in front of a house?
What?
This red font business on a black background isn't going to get it.

That sure must have been a mind-draining labor.

Finally, in one of the options the black space between the red
characters is an accurate silhouette of something I'd rather not mention
here in mixed company. Pretty clever!

A dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste. ;-}
