There are some great rides in our area.  We have the best weather in the U.S., so get out there and join one of these group rides.

Regular Rides

Saturday

SDBC rides:

These may be the biggest rides in San Diego.  They offer several levels, categorized alphabetically.  Note that membership is not required to join in on these rides.

• A group.  Departs at 8:30am.  No regrouping.  45 mile loop, through North County and back down the coast to UC Cyclery.
• B group.  Departs a few minutes after A.  Regrouping.  Same route as A.
• C+ group.  Leaves a few minutes after B.  Generally the same route as A & B.
• C group.  Slightly shorter than the A, B, C+ ride, and more regrouping.
• C- group.  For those returning from injury, or new to the sport.
• D group.  I believe this is about a 10 mile ride, catered to folks new to the sport.  A great way to get started in cycling.
  

Ranchos Ride

Departs from North County Fair in Escondido every Saturday at 8AM. Most routes are 45-65 miles and vary every week. There routes have arguably a lot more climbing than others in San Diego as they go to Fallbrook,Valley Center, Bonsall, Ramona, etc. Ride routes are posted at http://www.ranchoscycling.org/rides.php. All riders welcome. Membership not required. We regroup several times, however the pace is fast between regroups.

Ranchos Easy Ride

 A 2 hr ride leaving at 8Am from North County Fair in Escondido. Geared for the intermediate rider this 40 mile ride goes through Escondido and San Marcos.
