Thought I would try this group. I am a cave diver with trimix cert.
Enjoy taking pictures. Primary diving is in Akumal area of Mexico.
Always looking for someone to join me in diving.

Akumal, eh?

I am just re-connecting with the sport after a 40 year hiatus, and I
ran across Akumal on the net. My wife and I are going to get certified
with the YMCA course this spring, and planning a 25th wedding
anniversary trip to include scuba in November probably.

Can you tell me about the reef diving around Akumal? Everytime I see
Akumal mentioned there's references to cave diving. Way cool, but the
wife gets claustrophobic. How about other sites and activities like
sight seeing? What else is there to do besides drive into Cancun for
nightlife?

See, I would be happy doing nothing but diving, but she would like to
do and see other stuff besides, so I gotta keep her happy.

Got any ideas on other stuff to do using Akumal as a base?
