Scrum Indonesia di Event PMI Indonesia

Setelah kemarin semua terinspirasi oleh sharing-nya Pak Aqomy, ini ada
acara lagi namun kali ini Scrum Indonesia akan menjadi pembicara di
event PMI Indonesia. Bagi yang sudah tidak asing dengan PMI, ini
adalah organisasi yang membuat PMBoK. Jadi acara ini sangat
recommended untuk dihadiri karena kita akan share mengenai Scrum di
komunitas manajemen proyek yang rigid.

The use of agile as an approach to managing projects has been increasing 
dramatically over the last several years. Gartner predicts that by the end of 
2012, agile development methods will be used on 80% of all software development 
projects. PMI’s research has shown that the use of agile has tripled from 
December 2008 to May 2011. Furthermore, research demonstrates the value that 
agile can have in decreasing product defects, improving team productivity, and 
increasing delivery of business value.

Just a soft reminder to register for the event before the registration closes. Pendaftaran akan ditutup pada hari Senin tanggal 27 Februari 2012, jadi jangan sampai kelewatan. Sebisa mungkin minta ijin sama bos-nya untuk bisa datang ke acara ini karena akan ada beberapa Scrum Master kaliber yang akan datang (selain Mr. Doddi himself who will be the speaker :-)) yang bisa ditanyain bagaimana mereka bisa menghasilkan tim yang hebat dan produk yang hebat.

Yang umum-umum saja juga bisa kok om:

• Low quality: Banyak defects, slow performance, Not user friendly
• High turnover, low morale, banyak lembur
• ROI dan TCO yang minim
• Jadwal yang molor
