Plans to port to Linux

Hi. I've come across Scribe recently (thank Jenny Presnell) and
installed it on my linux laptop using wine. However, I'd love to see a
version native to linux. Any plans for that? I plan on pushing it in
my historical methods class and have a full range of operating systems
running among my students.

For what it's worth, I just tried running it under Wine on Linux,
without success so far.
I filed a bug report at
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7206
for the curious; it seems to get stuck trying to load up a zillion
fonts.

I installed it using Crossover Office's version of wine--it seemed to
install fine, but I've not tested the features extensively.
