"Null" documents

Hi,
My documents are listed as "null" although metadata was added to them. I decided to go ahead and select some of the documents and edit the Title but if I do a quick search again on the box (keyword null) I get the ones I fixed again together with other "nulls." What should I do to
prevent those null documents to appear on my list? Any thoughts?
