Hello,

I am trying to display documents on SSL pages (pages with https), but
have been unsuccessful after trying all available options. The SSL is
getting broken in every case because of some components from Scribd
coming via http.

I have tried with both Flash and HTML5 readers with the "use_ssl"
param set to true (as explained here: http://www.scribd.com/publisher/ipaper_secure).

Please let me know how I can get Scribd embed documents to appear on
SSL web pages without breaking SSL. Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello all,

It would be great if someone could share their views regarding this
topic. This is very important for me, and in general for any
enterprise website using "https" with Scribd's API.

Thanks!

Update for everyone following this. I just got a reply from Scribd
regarding this query. Apparently, there is NO WAY to embed Scribd
documents in pages served via HTTPS in a manner that does not cause
SSL security warnings. I have copied the reply below:
-------------
I'm sorry for any confusion. The primary purpose of iPaper Secure
is to offer additional per-user security for embeds. Although it does
make use of SSL technologies, it's not a solution for embedding Scribd
documents in pages served via HTTPS. I'm afraid there is no way to
embed Scribd documents in such pages that doesn't cause SSL security
warnings.

I'm hoping that Scrubd finds out a way for incorporating this in their
API.

Best Regards!
