Beta fixed my issues!

After upgrading ot Gingerbread 2.2.5, I started to experience
phone freezes and the weird Screebl in landscape only worked
for clockwise rotation, not the more common counter-clockwise.
Just loaded up the new beta version and both problems have
disappeared. Most excellent!
