I am looking at scoop.it to see whether I can use it to source, edit and fill widgets in social media newsrooms on Wordpress sites. Now how would this work?
The newsroom (very much like the average social media newsroom like here: http://www.press-feed.com/) will have 'containers' with links to news like:
- industry news - company news - media coverage - event news - etc.
The containers could be widgets fed by RSS feeds coming from Scoop.it.
I would then have to set up an account per newsroom and then add the topics I want in the newsroom (see above). Each topic then feeds into a social media newsroom widget.
Ideally each item also contains the same reactions, sharing, rescooping, thanks buttons as in Scoop It.
Now can this be done with the Scoop.it API and what is needed to achieve the above?
And is there somebody out there who can help (clearly I am not a developer ;)).
