To use one of these translations, download the file, rename to "locale.properties" and move into the same directory as global properties.

Localising SciTE

The menus and dialogs can be translated into another language by modifying the locale.properties file which should be stored in the same directory as the global properties.

If you translate SciTE, please make the translation available to others. You can either put it on your own web server and include a link on this page or add it as a file in this group.

The file names should use ISO 639-1 language codes.

If you contribute a translation, then I'll assume you want it to be made freely available under the same conditions as SciTE, unless there is a comment in the file stating otherwise.

Publishing translations

This page can be edited by managers of the scite-interest group so if you have a new or updated translation, send a message to the scite-interest group. The translation file can be hosted in the group's files area. If you want to discuss any translation issues, use the scite-interest group. If you don't want to receive mail from the group then you can join and then choose the "No Email" option in My Account | Manage Subscriptions.
