"Transform Backslash expression" while "Match whole word" issue

I have a text with LF and I wanted to change endings to CRLF, when I noticed this:

If "Match whole word" is enabled (and obviously "Transform backslash expression"), find/replace fails to find LF match, while if it's disables LFs are matched.

This doesn't seem right to me, as I would have expected that "Match whole word" has no influence on backslash expression, so thought to report it

"Transform backslash expression" just transforms any backslash expressions in the input search text into the character they represent. Any other options, including "Match whole word" are still active if they have been selected.
