It is a binding to allow scripting Qt applications with Lua.
Not to code Qt applications in Lua.
Even if apparently it allows to build some dialogs.
Is that the only content of sciteTest.lua? How is it related to SciTE?
I don't know the project, but it appears the .so file isn't a Lua library in the

Qt is cross platform (win / linux / mac) and it already exists with
python binding. A new binding exists with lua!
I installed qtlua ([link]) and all examples
work.
When I call libqtlua this error:
sciteTest.lua:
require 'libqtlua'
Error loading module 'libqtlua' from file

Probably a bad idea to include the current word in the quoting.
I had the same idea and quoted the path only, and... it stopped working!
The path is provided as is to the HtmlHelpA Win32 function, I don't see why it wouldn't
work on Vista when it works on XP and Win7. MS mysteries?

Put it in a path without spaces... :-P
I don't have a Vista computer at hand but I just tried on one with
Windows 7 64bit (upgraded from Vista) and I had no issue with a path
with spaces.

This doesn't work on windows (vista) and SciTE 2.01:

command.help.$(file.patterns.p hp)=$(CurrentWord)!C:\p h p

but, this work correctly :
command.help.subsystem.$(file. patterns.php)=4

I tried this change but it makes things a bit inconsistent since it
only notices the disappeared file if load.on.activate is on. I suppose
this is OK since the behaviour within a session will be consistent
unless the user changes load.on.activate. Worse, it only notices

A quick, generically useful tip:
in SciTE, with html.properties file opened, hit Ctrl+Shift+F (Find in
files).
Type embedded in the first field, *.properties in the second one, the
third one points to the directory where your property files are stored.

Notepad++ does have the coloring mark on changed lines. I wonder if you
could find out how they do it and patch scite.
