[SciPy-User] Skellam, fft and characteristic functions

This is just an example for some one-liners that it took me a long
time to figure out (because I don't know enough about fft, and I still
have one missing), related to the question I asked recently about
fourier transforms.

cfdiscrete_ex.txt are the results for the example file, cfdiscrete.py
has the actual functions (and more examples and tests.)

Essentially these are just some tools to work with (discrete)
distributions. I used it to verify results for the Skellam
distribution in the scipy trac ticket.
