starlights and right facial sensitivity

Early this week, during the afternoon I noticed 20 or so little
starlights in front of my face. I blinked a number of times, they
didn't go away for about a minute. I didn't freak, they went away and
I moved on. Next day I noticed that the facial sensitivity around my
right eye was worse, figured it might be a sinus infection, so made a
dr's appt. Appt doctor said no infection, asked a bunch of questions,
and suggested I read up on SS. It's been 3 days, no medicine,
sensitivity has subsided. Light headache this morning. I'll start
keeping a log. I'm 59/F, have never had what I would think of as a
migraine. No having to go to bed, no light etc. Hope I never do.
