99 % of my SS visitations happen in the house. it's a darkish house,
and Light from utside seems to trigger it, or light waves of a
particular kind ?

Yesterday I was walking across a field with a SS in full mode.
Somehow, it didn't seem as incapacitating. I was able to concentrate
well, and get home easily. When I get a SS in front of the computer,
or magazine, clock, numbers and letters seem to go haywire.

This summer, I had about 8 SS visitations. They seem to be increasing,
and I don't worry. My blood pressure reading has been 160/80 or so the
last 2 times. Everyone is telling me to panic, and get to a doc. I
don't want to. Am I being foolish ? I don't want to be on pills that I
can't stop. Everyone I know who is on BP medicine will be on it for
life. They complain of dizzy spells.

I do have a pillow from hell. Can the pillow cut off the corotid
artery during sleep ? I had never considered that the SS's were
anything but light triggered.
I am a doc phobe, because I am afraid of side effects from medication.
I hate being addicted to things that might mess me up. I am 62,
female. Slender.

I am having my first night time scotoma right this minute. It was
triggered by the computer light. It's a doozie.right side, half
circle.very bright at the bottom.mostly whitish blue. Now there is a
swirly, like a fan turned on it's side.It will drift up, and be gone
soon.Shape changing like a wide V turned sideway. Too bad it isnt
musical. This one demands my attention. Zig zags getting wider. These
things are alive ! Now it's really colorful, and flattening out
Straight. Drifting slowly up. so October 9th, 11th, and 29th. Not sure
I want a cure. Now it's acting like colored false eyelashes. Saying
bye soon. I can't afford an ultrasound. I am glad you resolved yours.
